Sabrina Kartmann currently serves as the Head of Division Laboratory Automation at Hahn-Schickard, focusing on microfluidics, sensors, and liquid handling solutions for laboratory process automation, including 3D bioprinting. Since joining Hahn-Schickard in 2018, Sabrina has led the Autonomous Fluidic Systems Group, specializing in the development of sensor technologies and non-contact liquid-handling technologies. Previously, as a PhD student at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, Sabrina conducted research on electromagnetic systems and developed innovative sensors while also gaining experience as a Research Associate in MEMS applications. Sabrina holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Microsystems Engineering from the University of Freiburg.
