Alex Mathews serves as the Director of Engineering at Hadrian since May 2024. Prior to this role, Mathews was the VP of Engineering for Xometry, overseeing the launch and maintenance of Workcenter, a cloud-based manufacturing platform utilized by thousands of manufacturers worldwide. Mathews co-founded and served as CEO of FactoryFour, which developed a cloud-based manufacturing execution system before its acquisition by Xometry. As co-founder and CTO of FactoryFour, Mathews focused on modernizing manufacturing systems. Additional experience includes co-founding and leading Fusiform, work as a student researcher at BIGSS Lab, and serving as a research assistant at the Jeffrey J. Gray Lab at Johns Hopkins University. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
