Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the hardware development for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris worked on control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
