Dick Deerin possesses extensive experience in community service and leadership roles. Currently serving as Past President of the Board and a Thursday Crew volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Choptank since September 2010, Dick is committed to transforming communities through affordable housing initiatives. As a Board member for the Oxford Community Center, Inc. since January 2009 and a CASA volunteer for CASA of Talbot County since April 2006, Dick advocates for the interests of children under Circuit Court protection. Previous leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for IDPC and as Executive Vice President/COO for INTERIORS by Decorating Den. Dick Deerin holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Citadel.
