Toby Brown is an accomplished automotive professional with extensive experience in motorsport mechanics. Currently serving as the Chief Mechanic at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team since December 2015, Toby previously held the position of No.1 Senior Mechanic at Toyota Motorsport GmbH from October 2013 to November 2015. Prior to that, Toby was the No.1 Mechanic for Williams F1 (Williams Martini Racing) from 2004 to 2013, and the Chief Mechanic and No.1 Mechanic for the BMW Williams F1 Team between 1999 and 2004. Toby's early career includes roles as Assembly Technician for REYNARD RACING CARS LIMITED and No.1 Mechanic for Willams Touring Car Engineering, Team Dynamics, and a No.2 Mechanic position at Nissan Motorsports Europe. Toby's foundational education was completed at Oakmead Boys School.
