Marijn de Smit is an experienced educator and project manager with a strong background in geography and educational development. Currently serving as a Bosmaker at Bosmakers and a Docent Aardrijkskunde at Haags Montessori Lyceum since 2018, Marijn has also held various teaching positions at different educational institutions, including St. Maartenscollege and Aloysius College. As the owner of Marijn de Smit Onderwijs & Ontwikkeling from 2015 to 2019, Marijn focused on the development of challenging educational materials and student guidance. Marijn's previous roles include assisting in the development of the Zuidas area in Amsterdam and providing tutoring and coordination services in educational settings. Marijn holds a Master's degree in Geography education from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam.
