Ryan Staab has a comprehensive work history in the field of data centers and HVAC equipment. Ryan started their career in 2004 at Johnson Controls, where they worked as a Senior Sales Applications Engineer, providing estimates, proposals, submittals, and orders for HVAC equipment projects. Ryan also supported the development of engineering selection software and managed local projects.
In 2008, Ryan joined Pier Associates as an Inside Sales Manager, where they provided submittals for various HVAC equipment and managed the inside sales team. Ryan worked closely with manufacturers to ensure equipment delivery met customer requirements.
From 2010 to 2015, Ryan worked at Air Enterprises, LLC as a Design Engineer, where they designed and engineered custom air handling units. Ryan collaborated with consulting engineers and managed owners to create unique layouts. Ryan also worked closely with the factory operating crew during construction and managed changing work orders.
Ryan then joined Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 2015. Ryan initially held the position of Engineering Coordinator, where they managed various engineering tasks. In 2017, they were promoted to Chief Data Center Engineer, responsible for the data center's operations. Ryan held these positions until July 2020.
In 2020, Ryan joined Integra Mission Critical as a Project Engineer, overseeing various projects until December 2022.
Currently, Ryan is working as a Data Center Engineer at H5 Data Centers, starting in November 2022.
Ryan Staab attended Medina Senior High School. After graduating from high school, they went on to attend The University of Akron from 1991 to 1997. During their time at the university, Ryan pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSMET).
