Dr. Schutt-Ainé is an obstetrician/gynecologist and Chief Medical Officer for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (PPGC). Prior to joining PPGC, Dr. Schutt-Ainé spent several years at Planned Parenthood affiliates in Pennsylvania and California. Since the fall of 2008, she has been an Assistant Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where she is involved in direct patient care as well as resident and medical student education. In her role as educator, she brought the first Ryan Residency Program in Abortion and Family Planning to the state of Texas. Dr. Schutt-Ainé is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Medical Association and the Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
