Kristine Rui Slettebakken is an accomplished author and freelance artist with extensive experience in theater and audiobook narration. Since January 2020, Kristine has worked as a forfatter at Gyldendal Norsk Forlag, while also serving as a lydbokinnleser for multiple organizations, including Lydbokforlaget AS, Norsk Lyd og Blindeskriftbibliotek, and Storytel AB. Kristine has been involved in various capacities within TEATER RUI since 2003, including roles as skuespiller and daglig leder. With a strong educational background, Kristine holds a Master’s degree in Nordisk litteraturvitenskap from the University of Oslo and has studied at institutions such as Kunsthøgskolen and Norsk Barnebokinstitutt. Additionally, Kristine has experience as a teaterlærer at Jessheim videregående skole and has taken on instructional roles in youth theater.
