Hamerenoah Tesega is an experienced research professional currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at The George Washington University, focusing on the interactions between frog immune cell populations and pathogens. Previously, Hamerenoah was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Yonsei University, researching the role of autophagy in microprocessor protein regulation and its impact on miRNA biogenesis in plants. Additionally, Hamerenoah has experience as a Teaching Assistant, providing tutoring in General Chemistry and Biology, Calculus, and General Physics, along with serving as a Student Ambassador, where responsibilities included leading a journalism team and managing PR campaigns for prospective students. Hamerenoah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Life Science and Biotechnology at Yonsei University, supplemented by a study abroad semester at The George Washington University.
