Marisol Devarez is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in marketing, media, and community outreach. Currently serving as the Spanish Language Media and Community Outreach Specialist for Gwinnett County Public Schools since August 2022, Marisol has created initiatives to enhance communication with diverse communities, including the launch of the “En Familia con GCPS” podcast. Prior roles include Marketing Director at Kennedy Wilson, where Marisol developed multicultural marketing strategies, and Communications Manager at Servicios de Prensa, co-founding a startup recognized for its television and radio productions in the Dominican Republic. Marisol also contributed as Professor of English for Specific Purposes at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, and held marketing positions at Simon Property Group and Sun Herald. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
