Jack Burds is a seasoned legal and claims professional with extensive experience in the insurance and legal sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Guy Carpenter & Co., LLC since 2004, Jack has previously held significant roles including Managing Director at CNA Insurance, where management of Ceded & Assumed Reinsurance claim teams focused on Asbestos, Environmental, and Mass Tort Claims. Jack's earlier career includes positions as Claims Counsel at Zurich North America and various roles within the Illinois state legal system, including Administrative Law Judge and Special Assistant Attorney General. Jack earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Iowa in 1989.
