Maliheh Aramon has been working in the optimization field since 2005. Maliheh began as an Industrial Engineering Intern at IKCO: Iran-Khodro Vehicle Manufacturing Company and IKAMCO: Sherkat Sanati MehvarSazan Iran-Khodro. In 2006, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tehran. In 2009, they moved to the University of Toronto as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Toronto Intelligent Decision Engineering Laboratory (TIDEL). In 2010, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2014, they were a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Engineering (C-MORE). From 2015 to 2021, they worked at 1QBit as an Optimization Lead and Research Scientist, and is currently an Optimization Support Engineer at Gurobi Optimization.
Maliheh Aramon obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Toronto in 2013, in the field of Operations Research. Prior to that, they received their Master of Science (MSc) from the University of Tehran in 2009, in Industrial Engineering. Maliheh obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Tehran in 2006, also in Industrial Engineering.
