Torsten Fiebrich, CFA, has extensive experience in credit management and risk assessment within the energy and commodities sectors. Since November 2011, Torsten has served as the Credit Manager EMEA at Gunvor International BV, overseeing a dedicated counterparty portfolio, conducting financial analyses, and engaging with counterparties to ensure compliance with credit policies. Prior to this role, Torsten worked at Vattenfall Europe AG from February 2007 to October 2011, progressing through positions from Credit Risk Manager to Senior Credit Risk Manager, contributing to credit limit approvals and risk management processes during post-merger integrations. Torsten began a career in finance as a Student Trainee at Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH, focusing on energy trading regulations. Torsten holds a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Leipzig University and has furthered education at the University of Deusto.
