James (Dan) Nichols is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and project management, focusing on national security initiatives and ITIL frameworks. Currently serving as the Director of the National Security Division at Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc., James oversees the implementation of various ITSM processes and tool suites based on ITIL v3 and v4 concepts. Previous roles include IT Service Management Tool Practice Lead and Senior Program Manager at G2SF, and ITIL Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager for the United States Postal Service – Office of the Inspector General. James has contributed to developing core ITSM processes for agencies such as the United States Marine Corps and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, emphasizing operational compliance and efficiency.
