Gürsel Baran was born in Siirt in 1960. He continues his activities in the construction and paint materials sector with Dost Boya, which he founded in 1981. He is an active member of Timkoder-Tesisat Construction Industry Material Producers Association and Siirt Education Culture and Solidarity Foundation. He was elected to the Altındağ Assembly Membership in 2004 Local Elections and served for 2 terms. He has been elected as a member and has been successfully carrying out his duty for 4 terms.
