Makenna Curcuru is a Materials and Process Engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace since June 2023, previously serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee from September 2022 to May 2023, focusing on computational materials science and machine learning applications in high-entropy alloys. Makenna’s experience includes a role as a Student Manager for the University of Tennessee women's soccer team from August 2020 to December 2021, managing logistics for travel, practices, and game preparations, along with a summer internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2021, where development of management systems for the Spallation Neutron Source Engineering Program occurred. Makenna earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Data Science and Reliability/Maintainability Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between August 2018 and May 2023.
