Priska Neely is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various leadership and reporting roles within the public media sector. Currently serving as the Managing Editor for Gulf States Newsroom since September 2020, Priska has successfully developed a team focused on covering critical issues such as health equity and criminal justice. As President of the Board of Directors for the Public Media Journalists Association, Priska advocates for public media journalists. Previous positions include reporter-producer for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting and senior reporter at KPCC - Southern California Public Radio, with a focus on early childhood and arts education. Priska's career began with NPR, where key roles included assistant producer for Weekend All Things Considered and editorial assistant for Talk of the Nation. Priska holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Linguistic Anthropology from New York University.
