Pete Fairbairn is an experienced professional in the fields of commercial strategy and communications, currently serving as the Head of Commercial & Content at Queensland Rugby Union since March 2022. With a career spanning over a decade, Pete has held significant positions such as Adjudicator at Guinness World Records since January 2016, Group Account Director (Sport) at Thrive PR + Communications from February 2020 to February 2022, and Communications & Commercial Manager at the Rugby Union Players' Association from November 2015 to February 2020. Previous roles include Media Manager at Melbourne Rebels, PR & Events Manager at Eskander's Betstar, and various positions in public relations and communications at CM Ultimate Events and Thrive PR & Communications. Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and American Studies from the University of Canterbury.
