Lindsay (Vaught) Wakino is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in audit, compliance, and financial oversight. Currently serving as Controller at Guild Mortgage since September 2014, Lindsay previously held the role of Manager of Internal Audit and Compliance at Charlotte Russe, where process reviews were conducted, and the COSO Integrated Framework was implemented. Prior experience includes working as an Associate with IMD Controllers at Goldman Sachs, providing valuation oversight for hedge fund-of-funds, and preparing SEC filings. Additionally, Lindsay worked as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, managing multi-location audits for global clients, and started a career in education as a Native English Teacher at Presto Language School. Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
