Rylan Forester has a diverse work experience history. In 2021, they began working at Guidepoint as a Research Associate, where they connected clients to subject matter experts and provided insights to inform business decisions. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Research Manager at Guidepoint.

Prior to Guidepoint, Rylan served as a Teaching Assistant at Bucknell University from 2020 to 2021. In this role, they led weekly recitation sessions for Arabic language courses and assisted the professor with teaching and administrative tasks.

Rylan Forester attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School from 2013 to 2017. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Arabic Studies at Bucknell University from 2017 to 2021. During their time at Bucknell, Rylan focused on Concentration in the Middle East, Foreign Policy, and Diplomacy. In 2019, they also participated in the Middlebury Arabic Language School to further enhance their Arabic language skills. Additionally, in 2020, Rylan participated in the CIEE Amman, Jordan Advanced Arabic Language Program.
