Kate Kuzminski has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Kate started their career as the Director of Shelter Medicine at the San Francisco SPCA from 2010 to 2015. Following that, they worked as the Lead Veterinarian and Community Outreach Specialist at the Rural Area Veterinary Services (HSVMA-RAVS) from 2006 to 2015. Then, they served as the Field Medical Director at HSVMA-RAVS from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Kate took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Ruthless Kindness, a nonprofit organization providing mobile veterinary care for pets of domestic violence victims and other at-risk community members. Additionally, they also became the Medical Director at Guide Dogs for the Blind in 2018. Overall, Kate has extensive experience and expertise in various roles within the veterinary field.
Kate Kuzminski completed their education at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, where they earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Kate also pursued further studies at the University of Guelph, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Food and Agribusiness Management. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Animal and Poultry Science/International Development at the University of Guelph as well.
