Helen Hughes has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Key Account Specialist at Randstad from 2007 to 2010. Helen then worked as an Assistant Programs Manager at The Challenge from 2011 to 2013, where they managed a portfolio of accounts and secured funding for the charity. Helen joined de Poel in 2013 as a CSR Executive, where they were responsible for recruitment and developing labor plans on a national level. In 2014, they became a Divisional Support Manager at Blue Arrow until 2016. Currently, Helen is working at Guidant Global as an Operations Manager and Talent Resourcing Director starting in 2016.

Helen Hughes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Popular Culture from Leeds Beckett University, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Helen later pursued a Master's Degree in Careers Guidance at The Manchester Metropolitan University, from 2010 to 2011.
