Julian Taylor is an experienced sports journalist with a focus on football, currently serving as a freelance Football Correspondent for Guardian News & Media since October 2014, covering the Northern Ireland national football team for prominent publications. Taylor has worked with the Belfast Telegraph since January 2009, contributing to Sunday Life and other sections, reporting extensively on UK and international football. Additional experience includes a role as a Football Correspondent for ESPN during Euro 2016 and various positions at the BBC, including freelance Broadcast Journalist and researcher. Previous roles include Football Reporter at Sky and Press Association Sport, along with research experience at BBC Radio Scotland.
