Dilmi Weerathunga is an early childhood education educator currently employed at Guardian Childcare & Education since August 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Food Service Assistant at mecwacare Aged Care from May 2022 to September 2022 and St. Judes, Calvary Aged Care from March 2022 to August 2022, where responsibilities included dishwashing, kitchen assistance, cleaning, and serving food to residents. Dilmi is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Education at Victoria University, expected to complete in June 2025, and has completed a short course in hygienic practices for food safety at Chisholm Institute. Educational background also includes a Swinburne Foundation Year in Science/Engineering from Nawaloka College of Higher Studies and ordinary level certification from Tangalle Balika College.
