Daniel W. Giles has extensive experience in international public policy and government relations across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, Daniel serves as a member of the International Public Policy team at GS1 since January 2023. Prior roles include Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Baldwin Boyle Group, and International Relations Counsel for Teneo, where responsibilities focused on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Daniel also held the position of Associate Director at GR Japan K.K., and was Director of Government Relations for ASEAN at The Coca-Cola Company. Daniel's earlier career includes significant roles at Vriens & Partners, the Europe-ASEAN Business Alliance, and the Asia Internet Coalition, contributing to growth in government relations strategies across Southeast Asia. Daniel holds a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics from the University of Essex and is currently pursuing executive education in fintech at The Wharton School and further studies at the European University Institute.
