Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a solid background in developing collaborative solutions for educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational tools. Previous roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry harvester units. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in engineering labs and evaluations. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
