Lasitha Yapa Bandara has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Lasitha currently holds the position of Associate Tech Lead at Grubtech since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Grubtech from February 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Grubtech, Lasitha worked as a Software Engineer II at Circles.Life from May 2021 to February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer at Tunclab from August 2018 to April 2021.

Their early career experiences include working as a Software Engineer at Zone24x7 from February 2018 to July 2018, where they also held the position of Associate Software Engineer from February 2017 to April 2018.

Lasitha Yapa Bandara completed their Bachelor's Degree in Science with a specialization in Information Technology at the University of Colombo from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended St. Sylvester's College from 2003 to 2011 and obtained their High School degree with a focus on Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Lasitha Yapa Bandara has also obtained several certifications, including RPA Developer Advanced from UiPath in December 2019, ABRSM Violin Grade 7 from ABRSM in October 2019, and ABRSM Music Theory Grade 5 from ABRSM in January 2018.
