Evelyn Casuga has spent their career in public service, working to improve their community and build relationships between businesses and the public. Evelyn began their career as a city manager in Eloy, Arizona, before moving on to work for the Western Gateway Team, where they managed community and client development. In 1989, they became the town manager of Marana, and they held that position until 1990. Evelyn then spent 24 years working for Arizona Public Service (APS), retiring in 2014 as the General Manager of Community Affairs. Since 2015, they have served as Senior Advisor for Community Relations at Central Arizona College. In 2020, they were elected Chair of Growth Partners Arizona.
Evelyn Casuga has a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Community Studies/Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
