Dan Sandiford

Dan Sandiford has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Dan began their career at Vodafone, where they held several roles between 1995 and 2001, including General Manager of Telematics & Data. After Vodafone, they worked at DAS Consulting as a Partner from 2002 to 2003. Dan then joined Telstra as a Group Manager in the Product Infrastructure department from 2003 to 2005. Following Telstra, they worked at CA-Computer Associates as the Director of Strategic Consulting from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they served as a Non-Executive Director at the RFID Association of Australia. From 2006 to 2013, they held various positions at Infosys, including Client Partner in the FSI and Telco, Media & Entertainment verticals. Dan then worked at ThoughtWorks as a Client Partner from 2013 to 2014. Dan later joined Pactera as a Vice President from 2014 to 2016. Most recently, they co-founded GroWorx in 2018 and currently serves as the CEO.

Dan Sandiford's education history includes several qualifications in various fields. In 1995, they obtained a Certificate IV in Train the Trainer from Victoria University. The following year, in 1996, they received a Certificate of Advanced Financial Modelling from Monash University. Moving on, from 1997 to 1999, Dan pursued a Diploma in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia, specializing in subjects such as Advanced Company Analysis, Derivatives Trading, Macro & Micro Economics, and Securities Law. In 2003, they enrolled at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and completed a Diploma of Company Directorship, specializing in Strategy, Corporate Governance, Trade Practices Law, and Company Performance & Reporting. Continuing their education, Dan completed a Certification in ITIL Foundations from ISEB in 2005. In 2006, they attended ISACA and achieved the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) qualification. Lastly, from 2004 to 2006, Dan pursued an MBA at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
