Yu Vern Teo has a strong background in analytics, operations consulting, creative development, fund accounting, business analysis, and business operations. They are currently working as an Analytics Engineer at GROW Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Operations Consultant at GoerTek Inc., where they collaborated with multinational companies such as Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. They also served as the Director of Creative Development at Daily English Beijing, where they designed custom courses and secured contracts with multinational clients. Additionally, they gained experience as a Fund Accounting/Business Analyst at Fidelity Investments and as a Business Operations Associate at DRY Soda Co. They previously worked as a Technical Operations Specialist at Apple, where they optimized workflow and improved customer service.

Yu Vern Teo completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science from the University of Sydney from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Corporate Finance at Purdue University Daniels School of Business. Their undergraduate studies were conducted from 2007 to 2012 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Finance. In addition to their formal education, Yu Vern Teo also holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Fidelity Investments.
