Yanfang Ding has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. They started their career as an AI engineering intern at Inspur in 2019, where they were responsible for assessing the performance of the h2o.ai platform. They also built a machine learning platform using H2O during their internship.

Later in 2019, Yanfang worked as a research assistant at Monash University. In this role, they participated in a national data-driven project for social good, where they analyzed audiobook lending data by integrating and organizing large datasets using Java and MySQL.

In 2020, Yanfang joined YesVR as a software developer intern. They worked with the IT team to design and develop new features for the YesVR user management website application. They gained experience in both frontend and backend development, using React for frontend implementation and Node.js for backend functionality. They also established data communication between the frontend and backend through RESTful API.
