Mark Maestas currently serves as the Vice President of Leadership and Development at the Illinois Baptist State Association, where responsibilities include expanding leadership capacities for pastors and church leaders. Mark is the co-founder of Maestas Consulting, established in 2002, focusing on helping nonprofits optimize their impact through healthy organizational practices. In addition, Mark holds the position of Lead Church and Candidate Coach at Chemistry Staffing and has contributed to leadership and administration at Group Publishing. Previous roles include Executive Small Groups Pastor at Sagebrush Church, Executive Pastor at Journey Church, and Executive Director of Faith Based Initiatives for the Las Cruces Police Department. Mark holds a Master of Divinity in Leadership from Denver Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern and Biblical Languages from Howard Payne University.
