Eric Praedel has an extensive background in education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher for the Grosse Pointe Public School System since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Social Studies Teacher at Oakland Schools, where responsibilities included serving as Department Head at Oakland Opportunity Academy, and a Social Studies Expert for the Way Program, specializing in online education. Additional experience encompasses teaching US History and special education at Charleston County School District and serving as a Social Studies Teacher at Oak Park School District. Earlier career highlights feature coaching and providing individualized instruction as a Home School Teacher within Dearborn Heights District Number 7. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master's in Special Education from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
