Mark Vallis is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance and validation within the data storage industry. As of September 2023, Mark serves as the Director of System QA Test at Groq. Previously, Mark held various senior leadership roles at Western Digital from April 1986 to March 2023, culminating in the position of Sr. Director of SSD Validation, where oversight of global SSD validation teams was provided. Mark's extensive responsibilities included White Box and Black Box testing across multiple storage technologies, leading teams in the US and India, and managing testing and compatibility labs. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Irvine.
