Jason Shriver has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jason is currently serving as the Principal Platform Architect at Groq since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at F5 Networks for over 14 years, starting as an Architect and later specializing in systems architecture for the company's BIG-IP appliance and chassis/blade products. Jason also has experience in firmware development, platform management, UEFI BIOS, manufacturing, field diagnostic software, Linux OS distribution/drivers, and hardware platform bring-up. Before F5 Networks, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Telect, where they developed embedded software. Additionally, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Isothermal Systems Research and as an Embedded Software Engineer at General Dynamics. Jason Shriver started their career as an Embedded Systems Design Engineer at VertiCom and also worked as a Custom Products/Sustaining Engineer at Compumotor.
Jason Shriver completed 15 units of graduate level coursework in MS-CES at Sonoma State University from 2001-2002. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, where they studied from 1997-2000. Prior to their time at UC Riverside, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1995-1997, but did not complete a degree. Jason'sfield of study at UC Berkeley was EECS.
