Barry Hofer is the Founder and President of Blue World Insight, LLC, a finance and business advisory firm focused on private companies and non-profits in the environmental sector. With extensive experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and corporate water stewardship, Barry also serves as a Limited Partner at both Burnt Island Ventures and Groove Capital, initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurial ventures in water and environmental innovations. Previously, Barry held significant leadership roles including VP Finance at Optum and Northwest Airlines, along with serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee at Great River Greening. Barry holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Finance/Accounting from Kansas State University, complemented by a Mini MBA in Non-Profit Management from the University of St. Thomas.
