Richard Koopman is an experienced construction project leader with a diverse background spanning several decades in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Leader at KBM Groep since September 2022, Richard is managing a new development project consisting of 310 apartments with an underground parking garage at Knotting Hill in Hoofddorp. In addition to this role, Richard has been the Director and Owner of Mercante bv since January 1999, overseeing senior project management and construction management. Richard is also engaged with Groep Van Roey as a Senior Project Leader, heading a high-rise project featuring 395 apartments across two 100-meter towers. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Interplan Bouwsupport B.V., Slokker Bouwgroep, Sprangers Bouwbedrijf, Ballast Nedam, Bam Woningbouw bv, and Selie bouwbedrijf bv. Richard's educational background includes MTS Bouwkunde and various certifications in safety and construction management.
