Michael Shields is an experienced professional in procurement and strategy, currently serving as the Head of Procurement & Strategy at Tropic. In addition, Michael holds advisory roles at GRIN and has previously been Vice President of Procurement at MX. Michael's extensive background includes serving as the Global Head of Procurement for Real Estate & Facilities and Head of Procurement at Qualtrics. Additionally, Michael has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain and Health Care Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Global Supply Chain Management from Brigham Young University.
