Peter Wood is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in infrastructure and technology operations. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Griffin since April 2022, Peter transitioned from an individual contributor role to overseeing Griffin's Infrastructure and TechOps teams, while actively supporting the CTO in cybersecurity initiatives. Prior to this, Peter held senior software engineering positions at BBC from May 2015 to April 2022, where contributions included leading the development of the Content Enrichment Chassis and championing microservices architectures. Peter's career also includes significant roles at Lancaster University, specializing in network security, and at Macrovision Europe as a technical support engineer. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Staffordshire, earned from 2000 to 2004.
