Astrid Atkinson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and clean energy initiatives. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at GridWise Alliance since January 2023 and as the CEO & cofounder of Camus Energy since March 2019, Astrid focuses on advancing the transition to clean energy through intelligent, market-based orchestration. Previously, a Senior Director of Software Engineering at Google from October 2004 to February 2019, Astrid led a 250-person team in developing standardized infrastructure for Google products and played a key role in transforming Search and Cloud services with innovative microservices architecture. Astrid's career began as a Senior Technical Writer at E.piphany, providing documentation for the Analytics product line after starting as an intern. Astrid holds education credentials from Queensland University of Technology.
