Richard Knowles, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of data science and information security. Currently serving as the Director of Real-World Evidence at Johnson & Johnson since January 2018, Richard collaborates with senior leadership to enhance data-driven decision-making. Previously, Richard held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at L Brands from September 2003 to December 2018, where strategic oversight of security initiatives was provided. Richard's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Laboratory Science from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Yale University.
