Stephen Darlington is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data-intensive applications and software development. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at GridGain Systems since June 2018, Stephen specializes in enhancing client success with GridGain and Apache Ignite, focusing on solution architecture and performance optimization. As the Founder and Managing Director of Wandle Software Limited since March 2008, Stephen pursues personal projects within the Apple ecosystem. Previous roles include Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Opower platform for utility companies, and Senior Technical Consultant at Aleri, specializing in Complex Event Processing software. Stephen's diverse background includes roles at firms such as Progress Software, Sybase, and Lloyds Banking Group, where mastery of various technologies and collaboration across multiple teams has been demonstrated. Stephen holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Durham University, earned between 1992 and 1995.
