Athena Vadnais, APR, currently serves as the Communications and Community Engagement Director at Gresham-Barlow School District, a position they have held since 2003. Prior to this role, they worked as a Public Information Officer for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District from 1999 to 2003 and as an Anchor/Reporter at KPVI-DTV from 1993 to 1999. Athena was also a member of the National School Public Relations Association from 1999 to 2011 and served as the Northwest Region Vice President for the organization. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Political Science from Idaho State University in 1993.
