Christy Fordham has extensive experience in education, administration, and photography. Currently serving as a paralegal at Gregory M. Varner & Associates, P.C. since June 2021, Christy Fordham also operates Christy Fordham Pictures, specializing in sports action photography since 2011. Previously, Christy Fordham held various roles, including Director at Randolph-Roanoke Career Tech Center from January 2015 to June 2021, NBPTS Certified Teacher with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards until June 2021, and Director of Technology at Roanoke City Schools from July 2011 to January 2015. Additional roles include United States History Teacher at Handley High School and Intel Master Teacher with Intel Teach to the Future Certification. Christy Fordham holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University and a Bachelor of Education in Social Sciences from the University of West Georgia, along with an Associate of Arts from Southern Union State Community College.
