Mukhtar Ahmed Ph.D. serves as the Director of Project & Portfolio Strategy at Greenstone Biosciences, where oversight of drug development pipelines and leadership of cross-functional teams are key responsibilities. Previously, Mukhtar held the position of Senior Scientist at the same company, leading drug discovery initiatives and contributing to international projects. Currently a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, Mukhtar collaborates on drug discovery research. Tenure at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine included roles as Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on single-molecule studies and high-impact publications. Mukhtar earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and has participated in various educational programs including Executive Business Analytics from Wharton Executive Education. Additional roles on the Scientific Advisory Board of Ohayo Valley and earlier research positions complete an extensive academic and professional background in molecular biology and drug development.
