Jamie Adasi has a diverse work experience in various roles related to inclusion, diversity, equity, and allyship. They currently serve as the Head of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Allyship (IDEA) at Greenhouse Software since 2022, and their previous role at the same company was as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) from 2020 to 2022.
Prior to their work at Greenhouse Software, Jamie owned their own consulting firm called Jamie Adasi Consulting, LLC from 2018 onward. They also worked as the Director of Diversity & Inclusiveness - Faith & Spirituality at WellPower from 2016 to 2020.
In 2U, they held the position of Healthcare Recruiter/Clinical Placement Specialist from 2015 to 2016. They partnered with hospitals, clinical agencies, students, and faculty members to execute placements and affiliation agreements. Jamie also led the 2UrHealth Corporate Wellness Committee and played a strategic role in developing the company's culture in the Denver office.
Jamie has also worked as a part-time counseling faculty at Montgomery College, a college success coach at CollegeTracks, and a program director for student organizations & leadership at Georgetown University. They held multiple roles at the University of Maryland, including graduate coordinator for human resources, graduate coordinator for leadership development programs, and graduate resident director.
Lastly, Jamie served as the house director at Delta Phi Epsilon - Delta Xi Chapter, where they managed the daily operations and budget of a sorority house. They also worked as the graduate coordinator for cultural & spiritual diversity initiatives at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, supporting students in building awareness and knowledge of diverse people, cultures, and belief systems.
Jamie Adasi has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling & Personnel Services from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Jamie also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish Language & Cultures, from the University of Maryland. Prior to attending university, Jamie obtained a High School Diploma from Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School.
In addition to their formal education, Jamie has also obtained several certifications. They are a Mental Health First Aid USA Youth & Adult Instructor, certified by the National Council for Behavioral Health in February 2017. Jamie also has an Advanced Starfish Training for Counseling Faculty Certificate from Starfish Retention Solutions, Inc., obtained in 2014. Further, they hold an At-Risk Mental Health Training Certificate from Kognito, obtained in 2014. Lastly, Jamie has a Nonviolent Conflict Intervention Advanced Training Certificate from peace brigades international - pbi, obtained in 2013.
