Nathan Swartz has a diverse work experience in both software engineering and carpentry. Nathan has worked as a software engineer for GREENFIELD INCORPORATED since 2023, and previously worked as a software engineer for NetApp from 2018 to 2023. Nathan also worked as a student contractor for NetApp SolidFire from 2017 to 2018, where they analyzed existing functional tests, designed and built new tests using Python test suites, and validated functional test implementations using Python unit tests. Before that, they worked as a student contractor at NetApp E-Series from 2015 to 2017, where they ran and analyzed performance tests, installed, set up and maintained Linux host servers and storage configurations for performance testing using various protocols, and designed and built a test automation tool. Nathan also has experience in carpentry, having worked as a finish carpenter for Winter Woodworking Inc. from 2013 to 2015 and as a licensed structural carpenter and contractor for Swartz Carpentry from 2007 to 2012.
Nathan Swartz earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Wichita State University from 2014 to 2018.
