Mica Miro currently serves as Engagement Director at Green Empowerment since September 2019. Previously, Mica worked as a Website Designer for the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization in 2019, where a new website for the Community Works Project was designed. Between 2014 and 2017, Mica held the positions of Responsible Tourism Program Manager and Interim Managing Director at Fundación En Vía, overseeing staff and programming while redesigning the foundation's website. Mica's experience also includes roles such as Teaching Artist and Summer Camp Coordinator at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco from 2011 to 2013, where daily summer program operations were managed. As Assistant Director and Lead Teacher at Growth and Learning Opportunities from 2007 to 2011, Mica created multicultural programming and mentored teachers. Additionally, Mica worked as Camp Director and Lead Teacher at Galileo Learning from 2006 to 2010, directing a summer day camp for elementary-aged children. Mica holds a degree from Mills College, earned between 1999 and 2003.
