Lior Matzkin currently serves as a Delivery Lead and Program Manager at H55, focusing on electric propulsion solutions to achieve net zero CO2 emissions in aviation by 2050. Prior to this role, Lior held positions at Open Cosmos from June 2019 to January 2023, first as a Senior Project Manager, successfully completing the design and qualification of a spacecraft for the European Space Agency, and previously as a Project Manager overseeing a €2 million ESA mission for a nanosatellite. Lior also worked at NATS from September 2015 to May 2019, starting as a Graduate Systems Engineer and advancing to Systems Engineering Manager, managing critical software updates for air traffic control. Earlier experience includes an internship at Rolls-Royce, where project leadership in materials engineering was undertaken. Lior's academic credentials include an MBA from the University of St.Gallen, expected by August 2025, and an MEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Southampton, completed in 2015.
